To bolster our brand image, we initiated our curated retail channel to showcase the full range of Pigeon products and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Our retail journey commenced in June'22 in Karnataka, and within a remarkable 13-month period, we successfully inaugurated 100 retail stores (COCO). By the end of December '23, we anticipate reaching 140+ stores, with a strategic plan to expand to 180 stores by the conclusion of the 2023-24 financial year.
Presently, our retail channel has a strong presence across all South Indian states, and we've recently ventured into the North Indian market with the launch of the first store in Mayur Vihar, Phase-1, Delhi.
All our stores have achieved break-even sales within two months of opening, and we've witnessed a notable increase in sales across other retail channels (GT/MT) within the same territory.
The Retail Stores boast an impressive average conversion rate of 81%, and over one-third of our customers are repeat purchasers within three months of their initial purchase.
